The one in the guest room is about 20 years old. Still functional, but the only time it gets used these days is if I have my bike trainer set up there and need to pedal along to a DVD.

We're pretty hip at the DD house. All flat screens and pretty new. Mr. DD went flat screen crazy.

About 10 years, a Sony. Will have it until it dies. I read more than watch TV, so it is fine.

My parents TV is so old it used to be hooked up to a BETA VCR! :D

My first TV will be 5 years old in August.

So did my sister. She put flat screens in all the rooms in her Dallas home and at the beach and threw out the old ones.

We, on the other hand, went to Tulane and I guess some of our classmates' proverbial characteristics rubbed off on us. Why throw away a TV when it works fine? :dunno::lol: We have at least one 20-year-old TV. We splurged and bought one flat screen in the GA house. But we have a lot of 13" ones.
