How the hell do you treat a jellyfish sting??

A friend put Sting Stopper on his kid yesterday and it definitely stopped the whimpering. Of course this was after they had done some other scrapping and applying of something down on the beach, then some vinegar up at Cinderella Circle, then made their way to Modica for the Sting Stopper stuff. The ingredients were basically vinegar and lydocane. Lydocane would probably be the whimper stopper. They kept reapplying as the sting came back.
