Possibly relocating to Huntsville, AL and wondering if anyone is familiar with the area and any communities....new or historic...preferably tree lined and close to amenities. Prefer homes with 9 or 10 ft ceilings

Hi,
Huntsville is a Great city (it is my hometown). It is the home to the Space Program and also the home to Redstone Arsenal (Military base program office for most weapon platforms). The space program brought the Hi tech companies and money so there are a lot of nice areas and things to do. The Tennessee river runs past the south side of town and it is also in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. The cost of living is great and close enough to the mountains and the beach (6 hours or so to Seagrove). Here is the link to the Chamber page: http://www.huntsville.org/.
KDW lives just south of town and she will probably add to this thread.

I have an online friend that lives in Huntsville and she LOVES research and stuff like this. If you would like to have her contact you, you can contact me at flipflopflo@cox.net and I will get the two of you together online. ~Pammy~
