Here is a photo from Grayton Beach which I took on July 11, 2005, after one storm, but it was before Ivan ever hit. We were affected by several major storms just prior to Ivan rolling through, and that is why it looked so bad after Ivan.

Ivan's landfall was Sept 10, 2004, and Dennis hit on July 10, 2005. Your picture documented the end of recent storm losses, but we did have Ivan, followed by TS Arlene, then Dennis. I compare it to boxing with a hook from Ivan, a jab from Arlene, followed by the knockout uppercut from Dennis.

we had just married and bought our house in a bayfront neighborhood.
