Hurricane oyster bar - yikes!

Made Happy Hour mid February and it could not have been better. Will be in town again next week and it is one of the places I will make sure we visit. Food and service were both great.

Never had a problem with service or the food, IMHO sounds like a fluke.

I had a bad experience there months ago and got such a drubbing on the board when I complained that I figured it was an atypical experience and gave it another try.

The last 6 or 7 visits have been great ;-). I think of spring break as a hazing period before the summer season, so I wouldn't judge a restaurant solely based on spring break performance.

Had lunch at Hurricane Oyster a few days ago and it was to die for!!! I had the fried oyster salad (doesn't sound good, but I promise, I want another one), split the fish taco's with a friend and we split a doz. oysters. All EXCELLENT!!! The oysters were fresh, salty and wonderful...and I am picky about my oysters. Everything, including the service was excellent. I can't wait to go back!!!

We're headed there tomorrow night for our pre-travel Sunday meal. Back to memphis for a bit then back here...plus got older son and his buds here next week tearing up the local golf courses and hangouts and eateries.....
