Larry admitted in the interview that the idea of giving him money was in his opinion no worse than bailing out the big three or the banks. He has no doubt he will never see a penny, but hey, he made headlines.

The girls gone wild guy will hang out with anyone he thinks might give him a little publicity. He's even a bigger goober than Larry.

Larry is making a political statement, the guy in PC (who should be in prison IMO) is just looking for $ and attention.

I think this is catching. The "Girls Gone Wild" guy was shown in a clip today on Panama City's News at Noon on NBCs local channel 7 as wanting to get in on the bailout.

:rotfl:...he's always needing someone to bail him out. (usually from jail )

Why shouldn't Penthouse be bailed out? GM was bailed out. Both companies refused to grow and change with the times. For the porn industry, the printed stuff was taken over by the online stuff. (reminds me of exactly what is happening with the news, cable, and magazine giants are going through.) For GM, they refused to see the big picture, and wouldn't produce more fuel efficient autos, however, within six months of gas prices increases, suddenly we are hit with full-size trucks increasing fuel economy from 14 mpg to 22 mpg.

I am in no way suggesting that I believe that the porn industry should be eligible for tax dollars paid by our grandchildren, but at the same time, I don't think banks and auto manufacturers should be any more eligible. To me, they are one in the same. Businesses need to move with the times, or they will be crushed by the businesses which are up to date and never satisfied with the status quo. I guarantee you that Google is not asking for a bailout.

I don't think that that industry was what Congress meant by Stimulus Package.

Besides, even though the economy is limp, I bet the porn industry coninues to rise, even though it faces stiff competition.

Hopefully congress will find this a little hard to swallow, but you never know. They seem to have a stomach for just about anything.

I don't think that that industry was what Congress meant by Stimulus Package.

L Flint is just trying to get a rise out of P-pl.

I'll preface this with the fact that a gay guy is telling a straight guy this.

Get it straight, Penthouse didn't ask for anything. That is published by Bob Guccione.

A few years back, South Carolina Senator Fritz Hollings spoke on the Senate Floor, against the foul language, specifically noting shows such as "Cleatis and BeetHead." After the Senator left the floor, his Chief of Staff pulled him aside, and suggested to the Senator that he get the show's name correct, "Bevis and Butthead," so that people would believe that the Senator actually knew what he was talking about. Sen. Hollings quickly replied to his Chief of Staff, "You don't want them to think that I actually watch that garbage, do you?"
