Well we made what I think was the final major move. When all the pets and plants make the move then it is final to me.
Mr. IBD pulled a trailer and brought the dog and I drove the super sled with 2 very drugged cats.
The vet prescribed kitty valium and what a lifesaver it was. They were quiet for the whole trip.
I went straight to Whole Foods to pick up some favorite things and went HOME!!
I have to say as hectic as it has been making so many trips it is nice b/c I am sitting in my bedroom with all the furniture in place watching TV. Fridge is stocked and little IBD is asleep on the couch listening to jazz! I even bought a large bouquet of Louisiana Iris' to seal the deal!

Sounds like a lovely way to start your new life in a new place with the people you love. Glad it all worked out smoothly for you and I hope some of our future trips to SoWal overlap (soirees for sure, especially the spring one because I usually can't make the fall one).
Wow, can't believe I didn't have the chance to get together with you before you left....I do have fam in Tex....I should visit them....maybe I'll just make it as far as LA
