I took Jesse and two of his buddies to see this movie Friday night. I can tell you it is very disturbing. Will Smith was just awesome though, he did a great job. The content of the movie really makes you think and it stays with you for days afterwards. I guess because it is so real, and the thought that it could possibly happen. It is certainly not a "Feel Good" movie, so if you are feeling down or depressed and think you want to go, don't. Wait until you feel better. Now, this is just my opinion. Has anyone else seen it? What were your thoughts?

I want to see it. The concept is interesting. I liked The Omega Man (takeoff with Heston) as a kid even though it was campy I didn't know it at the time.

What I read about the ending of the book was a really interesting concept. It looks like it wasn't in the movie as I read reviews elsewhere. It involved Legend having become the "Boogeyman" to the thinking vampires. He hunted them while they slept and was used to scare the kids. He was their Dracula. Wiki it. Did it bcome a typical mindless zombie kill fest? If not I still want to go see it. Thanks

Just saw it tonight, definitely disturbing. It was one I wanted to see in a theatre, the special effects are excellent, of course. The story left me a little cold, and for some reason, kinda angry. There were only hints that the "zombies" were not, in fact, mindless. There were some very contrived plot devices, one of which I think is the source of my anger. I spent about a minute in a snit, rolling my eyes and refusing to look at the screen because I thought the choice that was made was stupid and unbelievable. There were other moments that were poignant and beautiful though... I don't want to say too much for those who haven't seen it... I know I will enjoy discussing this one for a while, so that tells me it's worth seeing.
