Y'all make me giggle - Doggie Day Care/Doggie Motel still haven't called~~~~

I think we're in the clear.
Lemme just tell you, I had a bowl of this chili for lunch yesterday and the first bite was so hot (spicy), it brought tears to my eyes......I looked at the bean can and accidentlly picked up the hot ones. I had to put some half and half in my bowl to take out some heat......LOL!! Maybe that esplains the dry water dish when I got home last night.
It does feel strange being at the cottage without my babies - first time I've been down here without them. The Doggie Motel would have already phoned me if there was an issue and what do you do? Let it run its course......no pun intended......thank God she's not a gassey (word??) dog and yes it is a blessing that she's short haired. FLTOC, for sure!
I would love to put a web cam on both Sweet Pea and p***y~~~~ see what they do while I'm away. And, record my voice, "No, Sweet Pea, No!" "Cowboy, damnit!" Watch 'em both run.
It's really amazing that there wasn't chili all over the damn house. One Christmas, The General (bloodhound pre-Sweet Pea) decided to bake some cookies. I get home late one night and the first clue was that his ears were covered in flour and cocoa.......then, I look at the house! I guess I left the pantry open.

Sack of flour and cocoa ALL OVER THE HOUSE~~~~~ everywhere - like on top of the fridge - how the hell did he do that? And, he was in a chocolate coma!!
Bloodhounds are the sweetest, most affectionate, protective animals - but those danged noses are POWERFUL!!!!
