That's young for a small dog. When I was a kid, my Peke-a-Poo loved fudgecicles. That was before they said chocolate was bad for dogs. He died of a cold when he was 13.![]()

Our first sheltie, Missy, got into an almost full bag of M&M's and I freaked and called the emergency vet who had me pour hydrogen peroxide down her throat to make her vomit. Worked like a charm.![]()

Hubby's family had a miniature poodle who loved chocolate. Every time they drove by the Fannie May shop, she'd go wild. Now that I think about it, chocolate didn't kill her.For my 10th birthday one of my gifts was a white toy poodle, I named her Sniffles. Please keep in mind this was a long time ago before we knew chocolate was bad for dogs, well every single day of her life she ate Hershey Kisses with me in my room during homework time. She also drank Mt. Dew with me in the car everday (we kept her a little dish under the seat) of her little life. BTW, she lived to be 18 years old! Yes, 18!![]()

You are right from what I just Googled. Pepper is just under 50 pounds, so maybe I can give her a little chocolate every once in a while. Her favorite foods all start with "ch" -- chicken, cheese, and chocolate.I thinks they have to eat like 4 lbs of dark chocolate before it hurts them.......for a dog over 50lbs. Those little drop kick doggies probably can't handle as much.......OK - so you know I'm kidding, right.....about the drop kick thang.
;-)
You are hilarious.
