by the way speaking of mom - as most of you know my dad had his knee replaced on may 1, well he has his staples out now and is starting to get a little more adventurous in his activities. he decided yesterday to walk down and get the paper. i was talking to mom on the phone and she said she'd better go and check on pop. when i asked why, this was the response " well, if he falls down in the driveway, i've got to pull him to the side so i can get my car out of the garage - i have a tanning appointment at 10 am"
