I have to go out of town for Christmas and will be unable to take my dog with me. I can not afford to hire a professional to stay in my home in and do not want to board him because he gets somewhat upset when I am gone. He is only two and gets very sad and bored when he doesn't get enough attention. Ideally, I would like someone to stay in my home in santa rosa beach from the night of the 21st through the night of the 26th. I understand it might seem unrealistic to find someone to do this over the holiday and while I can't pay a lot I can offer babysitting, tutoring, dogsitting or housecleaning as extended compensation. I am a certified teacher with experience. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas for me. Thanks!!

You may want to offer up letting your pooch stay at a potential sitter's place during that time. I can't imagine too many people that can/are willing to not be at home or with their own families over Christmas, especially not without extremely generous compensation.... it's worth a second thought and may be your only option! Good luck!
