Hey, what about the food--what did you end up serving?
I knew you'd notice the hair. These girls swear by their Chi irons 364 days of the year but come prom night, they whip out the curling irons and do a total about-face. All of them!! Fyl took her SATs yesterday morning and she said one girl was there with curlers in her hair the size of orange juice cans. No joke. They all want to look like sweet little girly-girls for prom night. It's kinda nice.
Let's see. What food? As many of the recipes you all gave me that could fit on bread rounds. Fyl found a job at a sandwich joint and she came home Friday night with at least a dozen baguettes. I sliced them all into coins and whatever could be served with the bread was what landed on the table. We don't look a gift horse in the mouth!
Thank you all for the lovely compliments about the kids. They're a really nice bunch--we're so lucky in that we enjoy having them around. I know I'm going to cry really big crocodile tears when Philippa goes off to college...
