I realize that many people can sit back and scoff at spending money on STD prevention. However, if you have ever lost a loved one, friend, co-worker, neighbor, or anyone in your life to an STD then you might think twice.

I am curious, seeing as how the stimulus packages that are being proposed and those already in the system, how do you feel about the banks/ financial folks who took money to bail them out of their failures, receiving bonuses for the successful raids on our money. :yikes:The excuse for the bonuses are that these folks are worth keeping and without the bonuses they will leave. Where will they go?:dunno: Jobs are being cut all over and besides that if they were any good their banks/ financial companies would not be choking on the debt they created, would they? :bang:There are some folks around here that think Unions are bad, If those guys have a union I want in that one.:D
Those bonuses are a crock, and I want them refunded back into the treasury! :angry:Think the quote goes "It's Titantic time over there, and you just gave the iceberg a bonus for ripping a hole in your hull!"

Little bit of info

We spend, currently approximately 6 BILLION a year treating STDs. Through Medicaid or other federal or state funded programs. I can provide references if needed.

Personally, I'd like that number decreased. If it means spending up front, I'm all for it.

In fact, I think that social service, as an industry deserves some ****ing respect. Hell, maybe some stimulus.

Just saying.

Think first, teach first, spend less. Smart fiscal ****ing policy. Long term stimuli. Forest meet trees. Thanks sowalgayboi.

If universal healthcare becomes a reality I hope someone has a mega stimulus package on hand because the government will need it very quickly.

At some point you are going to need to do some personal research into what you are actually talking about.
