They do it every year, the birds make a nest on top of my outdoor speakers under the eaves, but this year, a set if birds (I have yet to identify) had their brood early spring that sprung 3 weeks ago, but the parent birds were still going in the nest. :dunno:
Now I know why, they had a second set of chicks.
Never seen that one before. It's like they are rabbits.
Anyone ever see this before? :dunno:

The animals have decided to take up residence in my yard this year.

2) Bat turd on my garden hose (asked him to move to a bat house I bought, but NOOOO, he isn't taking eviction well.

3) The deer who ate my plants while I was in Sowal comes to visit me every morning, and even though I have sprayed my plants with the best deer solution, is still nibbling and took out all my tiger lilies last night. Noticed she was injured today (heard a bunch of coyotes wailing last night) another first in 14 years.

4) Had a skunk come in my garage the other night, then hang around my grill.
5) A huge bullfrog land on my foot who didn't seem frightened one bit.

There must be an invisible animal neon sign
" Eat at Mangos' Eat at Mangos!" or I am becoming Mrs. Doolittle.

We have bird nests at work in our courtyard. And yes, they also have a second family going.

That's funny what you said about the birds having two broods because this year, for the first time, two sparrows set up house on our porch and they had two litters. Is a litter??? :dunno: Well, whatever you call it, we had two sets of babies and it was wonderful! They were noisy little chickies. We'd go out at cocktail hour and watch Mama and Papa sparrow go back and forth and finally one day the babies fledged and we really felt that "empty nest syndrome" hit us hard. I miss my baby chickies!!!

I am enjoying the birdies too. They have gotten so acclimated that they have no fear of me. But they love my favorite wood adirondeck chair.
I power washed it to clean their droppings off and moved it out of the flight path to the worms, and they still sit on it. :dunno:
Going to try a hammock. I've been evicted from my chair.
