At least you have a Publix!! Be thankful! We have a Wal-Mart, Kroger, Piggly Wiggly and an Ingles....can't even buy decent underwear or shoes in our little town! Thank GOD for internet shopping!

Hey, did your Bruster's go out of business? Ours did. That was the best thing about going through Griffin when they had their Bruster's first.

Daughter has played many basketball games in that ghetto-looking high school in the middle of Griffin.

I dunno, the cotton Hanes bikini underwear at Wal-Mart are pretty awesome. Shoes -- that's another story. Worth a drive to the ATL for Neiman's or Bob Ellis.

And too bad Eatzi's is gone. The stuff they could dish out would make that chicken pie look like Cracker Barrel.

Brusters is still here Yay!! The middle school in the middle of town is soon to be no more. The new facility opens this fall.

Heck, I live in Griffin. You can make it to Mt. Zion Road. Maybe we need to Sowal in "way south of Atlanta." What would that be?--WaSoAt?

I stay as far away from Mt. Zion as I can. Clayton County has got to be the worst county in Georgia when it comes to crime. Might get a buggy full of goods and come out to an empty parking space where my truck once was. I'll just have to live without Costco. I go to Sam's or BJ's instead.

As for SoWal, heading down Saturday.

I thought the Costco chicken pot pie was pretty good - and I don't like most processed/pre-made food. Can see why it is so popular!

Yes. Shallows. Costco in Tally. I quit Sam's and moved on up when they opened about a year ago. Love the place!

It's 5 and a half pounds before you add the unicorn. It fed approximately 15 people. Beat that on 30A for dinner. ;-)
