I assume by the title of your thread you mean GW as in George Washington, right? Or was that a mistake?

This is what Obama actually said responding to a question from a reporter from an Austrian TV station:

"It was also interesting to see that political interaction in Europe is not that different from the United States Senate. There?s a lot of ? I don?t know what the term is in Austrian ? wheeling and dealing ? and, you know, people are pursuing their interests, and everybody has their own particular issues and their own particular politics."

Since Austrians officially speak and print official documents in "Austrian Standard German" - I think he's okay. :roll:

This is not President Obama?s first mistake and will not be his last. I think anyone who is tracked as closely as a President of the United States can be found to make at least an error per day.

He really needs better staff. Someone should have told him ahead of time that it is pronounced the same as the constellation.

It's an honest mistake. My name is Will...W-I-L-L. For some reason many in Alabama, rural GA, and most of my cousins in north Floriday (yes, Walton Co.) pronounce it "Weee-uhl"
