I thought it was a joke the first time I saw the ad- like Dargvader had left on the Jon Stewart show or something. Then I saw the ad again. Really people, Rick Scott? Surely the FL GOP has someone less criminal?

The guy is one long string of business successes. Quite an impressive professional record.

I think we're going to need to do some digging on that one.
As for the alleged claim that HCA hospitals provide quality health care at low costs, I'm calling shennanigans on that one. There are a number of insurers who won't write policies in Okaloosa County because HCA has an effective monopoly on hospitalization for the area south of I-10 and charges monopoly prices that were described in the late 90s as 'highest hospital charges in the Southeast' for many common procedures. As for quality, Fort Walton Beach Medical Center thoroughly deserves its horrible reputation, and I am overjoyed that Sacred Heart Emerald Coast has come to offer a higher qaulity option in the area.
