Blue Mtn Beach!!
What type of water filtration system do you have in your home if any? Are you happy with your choice? If you don't have anything are you considering one? I can not stand the taste of chlorine in my drinking water. Currently, at the apartment, we have a Berkey system and I love it but I have to continually refill it and it takes up a lot of counter space. Thinking of what to put in new house.

Thanks for any tips on what works and what doesn't.

We have a Wellness whole house filter, and love it. No more red eyes after showers for me. Very low maintenance, it backflushes once a week I think, and it's made so you don't have to add anything to it for YEARS. It's expensive up front, but you don't ever have to think about for like 10-20 years or something. They make shower heads and kitchen sink ones for a lot less than the whole house bit...

I have one, can't remember the name of it, but will check. It's fabulous and is whole house filtration. I can definitely tell a difference when the filter needs changing.
In Atlanta it's wise to have to one due to the old iron pipes in the infrastructure of the City.

Are you on city water or well water?

Thanks for posting.

Regional Utilities water - though as I learned this morning it should still be filtered to keep it from affecting my coffee flavor.

I think Eco-water is a local company that does whole house filtration units.

I guess it's been a long time since I've been in the electrical room, but just remembered to check. Mine is NSA and not sure what the acronym stands for, but I love the system!

NSA=[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]owned by NSA International, National Safety Associates, Inc. started out with one product; smoke alarms and detectors. The company gained notoriety in the early 1980's with its water filtration system and later in the 1990's with its air filtration systems. Under the guidance of company president Jay Martin, NSA has a manufacturing agreement with Natural Alternatives International, the sole producer of the Juice Plus+ product line. Juice Plus+ products are made from a variety of fruits and vegetables, and include chewables, capsules, gummies (for kids), and powdered drink mixes. The company also still sells air and water filtration systems.

The filtration system I have been most satisfied using is the Brita Refrigerator Water Filter . They're great for apartments because they're fairly easy to install and don't take up a lot of space like the system you currently use. I used to buy bottled, but it became so expensive and produced so much waste. There are also lots of other options depending on what make and model of refrigerator you have, and if you want to go with pitchers, faucet mounts, etc..., as well as other brands of filtration systems that are also great.

Hope that helps!
