Bobby has mentioned this is one of his dreams- having an indoor wave pool.:D This weekend we took a little trip up north to the land of plastic palm trees and cement beaches. We met friends at Kalahari Resort and proceded to have good ole time family time. The resort has a safari theme going on as well as tropical. We rode the world's only water coaster, tons of tube rides and sat in the indoor/outdoor hot tub with huge snow flakes falling on our faces. I didn't take many pictures because we were so busy and when I did have my camera I couldn't find anyone! Samantha surfed but I don't have a picture of her...a friend will be sending it to me. She used the knee board. It didn't look easy and the wipe outs were the best to watch. You could pay extra for a lesson with a surf board but I didn't see one person get up and stay up.
The video is a life guard playing around. Sorry, it's a little dark it was just my regular camera.

Actually Schlitterbahn in Texas had the first water roller coaster, but that doesn't matter, an INDOOR ONE is many times better. I have never been able to stress enough how many more INDOOR activities we need down here as the weather is not always cooperative. Its not like we're in Floriduh or anything. An indoor waterpark would get full time use. Doesn't necessarily need to be near the beach, people would drive from all over to go to it, all year round, bringing much needed bizness in the off season. Even up on 79 or off 20 enroute to new Airport...I've got my trunks in the trunk, and ready to go!

I think it was the first indoor coaster like you said but now it's not the only one. Great Wolf Lodge opened recently near Cincinnati and Kings Island and they have one too.

Sandusky!!!!!!!!! Rollercoaster Capitol of the World.

I grew up near there, developed my passion for thrill rides there, and have been a junkie eversince. Yet I haven't been back to Cedar Point in nearly 15 years I think...

All right, lets get some investor's going and get Bobby J's dream in the works! I'll give a buck or two.:clap_1: :clap_1: :clap_1:

I'm telling ya people, whatever is done, has got to be done indoors, year round usable.
