OMG...I walked outside earlier and whoosh...thought of dd and how much she hates that wind!!! SoWal strikes again! It sure got cold fast!

it was 54 degrees when i went to work at 6:30, and 26 degrees when i just got home at 6:15.

It's official. It's COLD!!! Around these parts we're in the -20's and the windchill is around -50. The flufffy cat who likes to sit in the piano doesn't want to venture out for a moment even to the garage. Our heating bill should be interesting this month. :shock:

I get cold when it is below 50 here! Glad you don't mind living there girl! That is what makes the world go round...but I would not live in sub zero temps for all the money in the world...wellll...maybe for that ....hope you have a really hot man to keep you warm!
Yesterday it was about 80 here...me and my gf went joy riding in her BMW convert...got away from work for about an hour :clap_1: :clap_1:

We make do. When the house is chilly we wear extra clothes and we find little ways to amuse ourselves. We're geeks. We buy coffee cups from every place we travel and use them at home for our morning coffee time. Each day we relive some of our favorite travel moments. Today he's at Disney world and I'm in Hawaii! :clap_1:

She is a princess and always stares back when stared at. I've read that cats get uncomfortable with eye contact so either she doesn't know that or doesn't know she's a cat!

And for those of you wondering why anyone would live here, our summers are very pleasant. Actually, from April thru Oct. is nice with change of seasons and all. And if a person likes to ski, skate, sled, snowmobile and ice fish winter is great too.
