oh yes, JD seems to be the only real option at this point. he grew on me.

JD is young and they can mold him how they want. He does have a good voice - sounds a lot like Michael Hutchence. Someone will need to teach JD how to dance on stage a little better tho! ~

All 3 of them are in their early thirties..I know that's young, but I thought they were even younger than that. JD kept talking about how he "grew up listening to INXS." I'll bet that made them feel old!
All in all, JD is most suited for the band, IMHO. I'm sure they will polish him up before they tour...will be interesting to see.

This was my first time watching Rock Star. I was actually reading, and it was on- JD was singing and I thought Hutchence had been resurrected- very eerie how much his voice is so similar.
The Farris boys have aged way too much for my liking! Guess it's been awhile since I have looked at them. Might be getting past the age to pack themselves into black leather.
Marty had several problems- he looked like he should be in the Tom Petty replacement contest (although Tom Petty doesn't look so sickly), the hair was too girly, and "Marty" is not a good rock star name.
JD definitely has the voice and the energy, but needs to expand his repetoire of moves and tone down some of the ones he overuses (the arm jerk thing with the elbow, for example).
