Hey, I thought Ron Paul was going to be left out of the debates. What happened? He is on there. Thankfully, it isn't on Fox, which I don't receive.

He is being excluded from the Fox debates unless something changes. I see that the Republican Party of New Hampshire is withdrawing from their partnership with Fox because of Paul's exclusion.

Punzy, sounds like you put on quite a bash. You know that we would have been there if we were in town. Mr. IBD loves things like that.....:D

When is the FOX debate? I was beginning to think it was the FOX debate on ABC.

First, SJ, GWB has no IQ test on public record, but his SAT score of 1206 and his Ivy League education and post graduate work does not indicate that of an idiot. He is not cerebral or an effective communicator by any means, but he?s not an idiot.

Second, on Obama, since no one wanted to address his stance on anything, rather addressing his skills as judged by Dale Carnegie, I?ll concede that he is a very effective politician. The problem is he?s left of everyone on stage. He can speak of crossing party lines but let?s take a look at the top 3 issues that matter to Republicans right now. I?m leaving off immigration, for a few reasons. First, with Tancredo?s complete inability to start the race, I don?t believe it?s as important to voters and donors as it?s made out to be. Second, everyone is pretty much on the same page and equally wrong. Paul had it right in 88, but he?s moved populist on that front. Anyway here are most Republican?s top issues. I?ll give him the fact

Defense ? Does this even need to be discussed? Obama?s on record that he will immediately begin withdrawal from Iraq, and has a record that rivals McGovern and Dukakis on foreign policy.
Taxes ? He?s on record that he?ll roll back the supply side tax cuts and increase the payroll tax cap. His plans are all very expensive and he will increase spending.
SCOTUS ? He voted against Roberts after acknowledging he was qualified because he didn?t feel he was ?empathetic? and he voted to filibuster Alito.

I?m still holding out hope that Romney drops out after a loss tonight and NRO, Bork, etc. swing their support to Fred. I think there?s an outside shot he takes SC and gets some momentum into Super Tuesday.

Nice recap of the right wing talking points, 6th Gen. Thanks for pointing out why supply-siders and right to lifers shouldn't vote for Obama.

He's not to the left of everyone on stage. He is the most centrist of the Democratic candidates. He's less liberal than Romney on health care, and less liberal than Ron Paul on just about everything.
