IPOD Touch

Yay!! I got one for my birthday! Well, first I got a Nano, but then heard about the Touch and for $75 more you get: wifi internet access, can put pictures on it, games-- for airplane or bored out of my goard, videos, and of course, music.

You can sync all your contacts and e-mail addresses from your computer to your IPOD. It also has a GPS like map showing you where you are. No phone service nesssary, it works on WIFI, so if you are near a coffee house or near a wireless connection, you can go online.

I'm so excited. Now I won't have to lug my laptop around. All I have to do is try it. Unfortunately my high speed is on dramamine until tech support comes out to fix it. Comcast stinks. I need to sync everything via Itunes and I need to download the updated version.

So, does anyone have one yet? Do you like it?

Daughter has one. She absolutely adores it! Then we bought her a Macbook Pro 17", so we got another one for free! I guess you're saying I should keep it for myself rather than letting her give it to her boyfriend for Christmas. ;-)

Daughter has one and it came in very handy when we were traveling in Europe. Just find a McDonalds and you're on the internet for free. Used it to check on flights, hotel reservations, directions, email, and places to visit. Much easier than lugging a laptop around on our travels. Of course, I had to use my reading glasses to read anything!

This looks so cool. I can't see anything far away, but close up, no problem. Except for math equations in flourescent lights.
Apparently, it has a magnifier key so you can focus easier on the web pages on things you want to see closer up.

I won't be at the soiree. and the way things are looking on my calendar of late, I don't know when I am getting there. I may just drive. Lookout Sowal. Mangy doesn't fare well in the car for extended periods, but at least I will have my IPOD touch.
