A simple yes or no is okay, but posts of anything even close will be quite comforting for me.
1) I just now realized that "6th Gen" refers to being 6th generation. All this time I was thinking it was a military reference.
2) I was in my first year of college before I heard 'non sequitur' spoken aloud. Up until then, when I read the comic strip by that name my mental 'voice' heard it as: non-suh-quit'-chur
3) There used to be a billboard in Destin for some Mexican restaurant with food next to "nada." I misread it (not out loud) repeatedly until one day I suggested we eat at the restaurant next to NAPA Auto Parts.
I'm great with names, but I have to see a person at least three times and usually many more before I can recognize their face. If they change their hairstyle often, I may never know them. I spend 5 to 10 minutes every Sunday doing the puzzle in the funnies where you find the 6 differences!
So, I prefer to think I'm just unobservant, but I think the truth is apparent.
