A leap of faith…
I am in search of a unique work-trade-live winter '14/15 opportunity in the Seaside/Grayton Beach area…preferably 4-6 weeks but will entertain alternatives.
Former Ft. Walton Beach gal who now calls Whitefish, Montana home wishes to get her toes in the sand for several weeks in winter!! I am a Hatha Yoga instructor by profession & passion, and would be ever grateful to pick up some sub opportunities in the area. As well, I have many years of property/pet care-taking experience, thus a longer term house-sitting/pet-sitting gig would appeal to me. I can provide many glowing references.

A little bit about Cyndy
Cyndy is inspired & balanced by Yoga and feels it a privilege to share what can be a powerful whole-life practice. She started on the path of Yoga in 2001 and came to realize few other things allowed her to connect with her body in a loving, accepting way. Her first downward dog, while rigid & unyielding, quickly led to a devoted Asana practice, and in 2011 she completed her 200-hour certification at the Shanti/Satya Yoga Teacher Training program in Whitefish, Montana.
Cyndy guides her students in a thoughtful, creative manner; encourages a balance of effort & ease by linking breath with movement; and integrates meditation for a well-rounded practice. Her intention is to empower individuals to listen to their inner voice and learn from their own breath & body. She is ever-grateful to Jodi Petlin, Julie Munro, Kathryn Budig and countless others for their teachings ~ all of whom influence her own practice. Her current love~project includes teaching yoga to at-risk youth.
When she’s not teaching, you may find her tending to her rental properties, on the occasional house/dog-sitting gigs, learning a new skill or outdoors at play… Cyndy strives for a healthy work~play balance and is consciously moving towards cultivating a dual residence life ~ mountain living in Summer, coastal life in Winter… She remains passionate about yoga, wellness & simple living and thrives on continued studies to better serve her students. Cyndy also loves paddle-boarding (Yoga on-board too!), Pilates, mountain-biking, hiking, snowboarding/skiing, surfing, travel, chocolate…
