Does anyone on here watch the show on Sunday nights called It Could Happen Tomorrow that is on the weather channel? I think the show tonight showcases New York City and what would happen if a Category 3 hurricane hit New York City! It is on at 9:30 ET. A pretty interesting show, along with Storm Stories. They have been talking about the New York City one but husband saw something about an F5 tornado on there last night. So I guess it is kind of up in the air as to which one is going to be on there tonight.

:D Kurt, I am not fearful! We already had our Hurricane Elvis type weather back in 2003. 100 mph straight line winds and a storm so unreal the city looked like a war zone afterward. Now that scared me! At 7:00 a.m., not the kind of thing you want to be witnessing out your living room window. We still had to go to work! 330,000 plus were without power here for at least two weeks. Homes split in half from trees through their roofs! Alot of homes still not repaired.

TWC is interesting to watch for predictions. I do watch Storm Stories sometimes but admit I have not been following the IT COULD HAPPEN series. I dont' watch much TV anymore as there is seldom anything interesting unless it is NASCAR or HOUSE. I'm more into reading. I am reading the history of FD Roosevelt regarding the "SPIRIT of WARM SPRINGS" and how it built it to be sucah a great place.
I might chech out TWC tonight. Thanks for the info.

I watch the It Could Happen Tomorrow sometimes. It depends on what they are showing. It is a fairly new series on there. I do like to check out what is on Storm Stories nightly if I think of it! You are right, I do not watch much tv either as there is nothing interesting on. I however, do watch House. That guy is very bazaar and interesting. I like that show! I check out the Travel Channel and the SCI FI channel a good bit. My husband would probably like that FD Roosevelt book.

Apparently, no one watches the shows on the weather channel down there huh! I know, from your laughing smiley, you think I am nuts! But I am a normal person like everyone else.

Lady, I watch this show sometimes. The F5 tornado in Dallas episode was particularly interesting. Did you catch the episode titled, "Katrina: The Lost Episode?" Some pretty scary and accurate things were said on that show, filmed in April 2005.

i watched a show on either the learning channel or the discovery channel about what could potentially happen if an F5 tornado hit dallas/ft worth at rush hour, and the potential for loss of life on the freeways etc. it was very interesting and definitely made me think.
