I'm about 40 miles east of you. The sound of rain was a welcomed interuption to my sleep. I hope it hangs around for awhile.

I hear you! Just not having to run the sprinklers is a treat! And OH...the electric bill that just came! May have to use rental income from WC to cover that one! HEE HEE! Enjoy the rain!

Camp Creek, here's the answer...MENOPAUSE somedays, but since Saturday..our new sheltie puppy, MOLLY! She was doing so well, and then woke up really whining at 2:00 am. Sorry if that's too much info, I have a problem with honesty!!!! BTW, I AM EXHAUSTED! At least it has cooled off today...taking Molly out and running around the yard with her at 3:00 pm is a real treat! NOT!

When I read her question, I thought to myself, "Must be menopause".

Been there with the crying puppies. Its all worth it in the end!

Sueshore, I can totally relate. I think that some of my posts are in the middle of the night. My college students love me because they know they can email me questions 24/7, and I'll be awake to help them.

On the subject of this thread, yes, the numbers of posts have really dropped. Like Nelly might say in another version of "Hot in Herre" :

No more *****en about the heat. If you cannot take the heat, move to Greenland. Just kidding. I am staying in a house without A/C so I understand all about landlocked's K5 without A/C. I, too, had a car with a busted A/C for a long time, but the heat was bad only in the Summer. The temp in this house is about 95 at the moment, and I have a little prespiration on my body. Actually, many of the older homes in Asheville never had A/C. Thank God for Dr. Gorrie.
