Those are assistant coaches. Geez, Major Applewhite played at Catholic High in Baton Rouge then went to Texas...he can't be any older than 32 or 33.

Whitey, if you click on football in the drop down list, you will see articles on the hiring of Sabans staff and it tells who all of these guys are!!!!
I knew they were assistant coaches I've just never heard of them...except for Steele and Major. But what about the other randomness on the page?

His dad is Huge Alabama alumni. He was actually named after Major Ogilvie. He graduated in 2001 so he is pretty young for a coach.

I really haven't read anything about any of them. I need to do some studying and I will get back to you!!!!
Obviously, they haven't had time to get the photos and bios up of the assistants.
I think he's assembled a pretty good staff. Steele was an assistant at FSU last year. Great recruiter. Pendry has been around forever.
And Applewhite is only 28. He was the youngest coordinator in college football last year. It remains to be seen if he will share coordinator duties with Pendry, or if he will just be QB coach.
Read the press releases on the staff announcements. Pretty good info there. Really, don't know much more about these guys than what is written there.
I'm just working on the assumption that CNS knows what he is doing and that is good enough for me.
