well, if this wasn't in the Lounge, I'd give you a big fat "Thank You!" Well said, trikkster.i think it is cool that this is a place that celebrities can come to get away from the paparazzi. they may run into gawking fans such as ourselves but this is a vacation for them like it is for many people who come down. It should make us appreciate that we are in the biggest small town here. So i sayto Jessica and Tony. They are helping businesses down here. Sorry but don't you think it is the least bit intersting that a celebrity would come to Watercolor or Seaside?? Whenever I talk to my friends who live in Memphis or other places they only think I live in Destin not Santa Rosa Beach because it is a small town. People in FWB have no clue where I live because they don't come down here much, but for a celebrity who has been everywhere to come to this side of the panhandle is cool. Oh and thanks Geo because I knew about Jason Castro, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, and Kyle Massey but had no earthly idea that someone as big as Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo would be here.

I'm not sure of what you mean by 'big', but the reason I like it here is because it is quiet;nothing is 'bigger' than our scenery and (usually) quiet existence. It sounds like Jessica and Tony were being great visitors, so I welcome them. I would just hate to see a bunch of plastic kazoo phonies trailed by a merry mob of photographers descending on our turf too often...Lord knows there is plenty of room for that kind of crap in Destin or Panama City.

I work in Manhattan often and think it is neat when I see famous people there too. I get that you are immune to being "star struck" because you see a lot of people in the Big Apple but that still doesn't translate to why you would go negative here, dear...
