JohnRudy, we too went to St. Thomas on our honeymoon in July 1982. We stayed at the Frenchman's Reef.
WOW! Small world. We stayed at Point Pleasant. We danced at a club at Frenchman's. BAck then, Frenchman's was the really chichi hotel at the time. I'm considering us returning for our 25th but stay at the Ritz Carlton.

I thought I would combine these two comments in one thread.

Tootsie....I love, love your signature line. It is so sweet, and I can just see that coming out of spidey's cute little mouth. I just wanted to tell you that.

Johnrudy, I was curious about your signature line also. I went and looked at your pictures last night. OMG...can you say BEAUTIFUL!!!! I sat there in awe looking at them. I wanted to be there so bad. So folks, if you have not gone and looked at her photo's, you must!!!! They are gorgeous!!!

thanks! spidey said those exact words at grayton beach just last week - I think you were still in town when the three of us stayed out at the beach very late one night. I remember because of a beach patrol cop came over to remind us of 10:00 pm curfew... now, why do they care if we are out there enjoying the gorgeous night after ten?

Johnrudy.....blast from the past !!! I think the name of the resort we stayed at was Point Pleasant (not 100% sure) but I DO KNOW they has a restaurant there called The Agave' Terrace that was really lovely  now I want to go back !!!!!!!!! :clap_1: :clap_1:
Yesssss, that's it! I remember little cats meandering around, in & out of the restaurant, the lobby, everywhere. And the big lizards (Iguanas?)! I want to go back too. Did you go up to the top of the mountain and have one of those infamous banana daquaris? Looked like monkey spit. I've never liked bananas since!

We have actually talked about going back next year too. We went on a sunset cruise while there and there was a couple on the boat that was celebrating their 25th, we said then, lets go back on our 25th. When is your anniversary?

Yes. I love banana ice cream, but those daquaris were :puke: The scenery was beautiful up there.

Nov. 20 or the 22nd. Neither one of us can ever remember! It was the Sat. before the T'Giving holiday week in '82. But it has been blissful, I swear! (We have to get out one of our invitations to check the exact date.)

That's too funny. What's a couple of days after 25 years?

That's funny. I have trouble remembering mine too. The minister actually wrote the wrong date ( 5/31) on our certificate! I'm pretty sure it's May 30. Thankfully, a dear friend made us a beautiful cross stitch that I can check to make sure.
