Look at it this way...all those glorious renters paid the GB one!!! Our WC was much higher this summer...combo of contiguous rentals and heat, I suppose.

The good news is that we are about to have 3-4 months of almost nothing power bills, if you enjoy opening the windows and breathing fresh air.

Everyone who has had outrageous power bills--check to make sure that your a.c. filters are changed monthly. I know of a woman who has a $300 power bill for a 1200 sq. ft. condo. Turns out that she had never changer the filters--the condenser unit was frozen up with 1" of ice (on top of a building) and the air handler was also frozen. The filters were so bad that there was black mold growing on them.

Simple stuff like this makes a world of difference. Like itty bitty leaving the back door to the pool open for hours on end and saying" Oh, I was coming in after while". And it's a 100 out there
