Yes, that was Jill. John was barely in the program and the kids were briefly.
Jill has been a senior producer for several years now. They're very down to earth folks.

Funny thing is, we HEAR Jill really doesn't cook much. (Or very well anyway, but ... shhhh ... you didn't hear that from me!) ;-)

Well, I guess I would be waaaay impressed if she could cook too. How does she do it? Do they have a nanny or does John help with running the kids here or there. Oprah said she puts in long hours. It was fuNN watching the show knowing I sorta knew someone that knew them.

They have a Nanny and yes John helps run the kids around. Their kids aren't old enough yet to have too many activities. Jill does travel when Oprah goes on location, so that makes it tougher. Never heard them complain though!

I saw that episode too Rita. I set up my DVR just in case I wasn't home. I kept trying to explain the SoWal connection to GTTBD so I finally just pulled up the thread and had him read it. It made it that much more interesting and fun to watch! Everything looked wonderful! Rachel Ray made it all look soooooo easy. I would have flipped out to walk into a neighborhood party and have Oprah hand me a Martini at the front door! I loved that Jill said everyone stayed until the wee hours dancing!

Thanks for letting us know about the show. I really enjoyed it! (Actually, WE enjoyed it. GTTBD hates having me catch him watching Oprah or Dr. Phil! :clap_1

You're welcome. I seldom watch Oprah any more, but family clued me in to be sure to watch.
