You'd think it would be impossible to buy shoes online, but i am a die hard Zappos.com fan. (anything that keeps this girl from having to hit a mall is a thumbs up!) you have access to just about every shoe made, and can narrow the choices by any criteria-size, color, heel, style, on sale, etc.
The greatest features of this site are the multi-view links, which show the show from every possible angle! Then there are the customer reviews, which help you know whether the shoe runs true to size, how comfortable/durable it really is, etc. Order the shoes online, they're on your doorstep in a day or two max, free shipping. If they don't fit, just pop em back in the box, use their pre-addressed label they sent with it for a free return. couldnt be easier. And the sales ROCK!! i've gotten good $100 euro shoes for $20-40, several times. Always check the "On Sale" link first. ;-)

Bakers has very nice comfy shoes under $50. I know! I need them for work too.
