Kimmi, this is why I make at least 2 trips to THE city every year. It gets in your blood...kinda like another place I know... ;-) Thanks for that post!

Katz's Deli!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's NYC to me. When I was a little girl and we lived in NJ, my parents would take us into the city every other weekend and we'd go to Katz's for pstrami on rye sandwich with a big kosher pickle on the side.

I need a trip to NYC. It's nearly ten years since we've been and I'm long overdue.

I loved it Kimmi. I live 45 minutes from the train in Poughkeepsie and love getting dropped off in Grand Central. Even after 30 years, every time I'm in the city I see something new. It's funny, when I was reading about the chestnuts on the street, I could actually smell them. Just moved back to NY after living in NOWAL for 2 years and I almost forgot all there was to miss!! Think I'll make the short trip in to the city this weekend.

I left the city...the saw the Robert Deniro Amex commercial. Moved back shortly after it. ;-) And as much as I whine and complain about the city...the weather, ect. it's the best!
We're heading to Hoboken on Sat.for the St. Patty's parade!

I thought about going, but the weather looks iffy. Looks like it's going to be MOMA if it's gloomy. If it's sunny, we may venture over the bridge!!

It's a balmy, balmy day...We went to get magazines in Penn Station and I swear a gust of went came around a corner and almost blew us over. Other than that...winter ain't been that bad this year!

I almost forgot how brisk it is up here. I was spoiled during the holidays because it was so warm. Now I remember why I don't leave the house until I see Crocus.

We are planning a 1st time trip there this September and I would like to know a few things on your "must see" list. We will only be there for four days.
