Do you have any more mascara tips? I loved the Trish but the second tube I got has been clumpy since I opened it. It has become too much trouble. I have wispy pale lashes and oh, 30 seconds to apply (when I'm sitting in a traffic light). What is the best new mascara? Need advice from your bi-coastal self.

I tried a drugstore "microfiber" type but it was awful. I will pay for quality and ease of use.

YES! Dior Show is great. As is Shu Uemera. I would say that the Shu Uemera is the grandmother, classic mascara and the Dior Show is the younger and hipper mascara. The Dior wand is thicker and the Shu Uemera wand is smaller.

:scratch: Hmmm a smaller wand is likely to fall out of my fumbly hands and into some crevice on the floor of the minivan.

I'm not sure if I can pass for younger and hipper in said minivan but I will give the Show a shot. :roll:

One of my friends is using the Shu Uemera Fiber Xtension Mascara and her lashes look amazing!!! I would definitely try it.

i went back to the trish mcevoy after trying the dior show - the dior didn't stay on my lashes very long it seemed, and i do love the trish !

me too! I don't really wear mascara much anymore, but when I do, it's definitely trish. and I have this "red" color that I love!

my fave non-microfiber mascara is lancome. used it for years before discovering trish.

This is THE best Mascara I have ever tried, and believe me I have tried alot. $4.00 bucks at Walmart or Target.

TFT, this month's Real Simple magazine did a story on the best mascaras. They were all divided into categories with winners and runners-up. In the "volumizing" category, the Diorshow was the runner-up to Maybelline Volum' Express Turbo Boost. The winner in the "overall" category was Cover Girl Lashexact. There were eight categories, so you might want to look at a copy of the mag to see for yourself!
