Great news, Kimmi! I know you've had your hat set towards Southern CA for some time now. You will have a ball. It is the land of opportunity for young people and don't pay attention to those people who make fun of L.A. Saying you don't like L.A. is like saying you don't like food...something there for everybody. They have beaches there, too. Have a ball! :clap_1:

Congrats Kimmi. When I inquired about going to LA/San Diego last year for my first time you gave me great tips (which I appreciated very much). I love CA...the people are so laid back and all the food is wonderful.

We lived there 1994-1995...made ridiculously funn money...and spent every penny due to high cost of living. But I'll never forget the weekend we went snow skiing on Saturday at Big Bear, then soaked up sun on the beach near San Diego on Sunday...what a FUNN lifestyle that was!

How's the baby brother handling this move? That's alot of space on the map between 'Bama and California. My daughter is missing her brother who just moved to Memphis, she'd freak if it was L.A. Phead are you going with???

Here's the thing...when Phead was like 10 I left for college...so he's pretty used to me not being around. But his interest lies in where he can come visit. So he's looking out for number one. He prefers me being out of NY because he says he's eaten everywhere he can here. He's ready to move on to bigger and better. :funn:
