That's interesting. I also heard that they were waiting on the unit to close, but that seems like a weird reason, seeing as how they already built it out.I think they are at the mercy of their landlord closing the real estate transaction. I've heard that they are ready to open, and have been for a couple of weeks, but can't open yet.
I'm not sure how it works here... (SoWal), but typically the certificate of occupancy gets held up until the closing on a "new" construction project. I have no idea about the details of this particular deal but have heard through "the grape vine" that the closing was the only hold up for the chicken place. I think they have had the place stocked for a couple of weeks. I ride by real slow every couple of days hoping they'll throw a box of fried chicken in my truck!;-)
