Late summer soiree???

Otherwise I'll just have to do the Geo thing and post "meet me at the Red Bar right now" when I get there. :D

I remember when my family thought I was meeting a bunch of axe murderers when we had our first Texgent over at DD's house.... my whole family came with me to the get together.... :lolabove:

That might work, there's always been a spring/fall soiree, perhaps we could just combine the two.

we have always accepted that we are all online axe murderers until proven otherwise. that's why the soirees are so much funn. we can meet and see who is and who isn't.

maybe we need to change the name from SoWal Soiree to SoWal Axe on the Beach. and we can all bring our own axe to the party (plastic of course). the potential is endless.

I think once a year soiree is enough. and people can continue to just plan their little soirees as they wish. why not throw together a quick soiree (axe ball on the beach) when we know a bunch of folks are in town - its not like you have to plan a lot of sheet.

But I'm sad that we didn't have a big party. Actually I hear that there were break-out parties to which we all weren't invited -- they just kind of popped up.

I heard of a couple, but if I had been there, I would have invited you BR. I had a big meeting that Friday, which precluded my beach going partying.
