No rain here yet - just more and more overcast and blustery.

Saw a bunch of Sowallers at the Farmer's Market - lots of goodies to sample and buy!

Yep no rain yet.....want to go golfing with Canuck and Cheesehead????:scratch:

Can't this afternoon - just finished my Farmer's Market omelet (from this morning's smoked gouda, eggs, eggplant, sweet pepper, and zucchini) and am off to run errands on this gray day so I can play on a sunny one!

This is the first weekend in several months that I have absolutely nothing to do. I plan to be "left alone"

I want to be spontaneous and mostly, I don't want to go anywhere. I just want to be at home and the beach.

Hey Poodleone, I'm not at the beach either but in sunny Arlington, TX. I plan to hit Central Market's patio at some point this weekend for a meal and relaxation. I saw a BBQ place on Foodnetwork called North Main BBQ in Euless so I think we may give that a whirl this weekend as well.

Looking forward to July when I'll be at the beach so I'll be hitting the gym to work on my beach body plenty this weekend as well!!

Corsicana is the closest BIG city??? You poor thing! I just moved from DFW and remember the tiny town of Corsicana. While adorable, it is definitely not big. I couldn't imagine that having to be my big city comparison!

Bad news on the beach front: rain forecasted for the weekend.
I think yours might be the enviable one this time!

It has been an interesting challenge since we moved down here from Tarrant county (NRH outside FW) three years ago. However, as my husband says almost everyday "We live at the lake!"

We tried North Main BBQ once years ago after reading/hearing so much about it. I thought it was OK but not my favorite. Did you get to go?
