Isn't part of the reason so many Republicans won is because a lot of them are non-teabaggers? Isn't the tea party starting to look more and more like a failed experiment? I'm not optimistic, but aside from Ted Cruz (and maybe Rand Paul), I don't know if the crazy level in the Senate is all that high. Congress is a different story, but that's always been a barnyard of crazy oddball lunatics. You'd swear they were all from Florida. I think the GOP is starting to remove some of the tea stain, but maybe I'm wrong. Tell me.

The next majority leader of the senate will be the tell. Joni and Ted wouldn't say it would be Mitch McConnell, I think the tea crazy's are making a play for the senate.

Do any of you ultra liberals posting on this site have any idea of what the Tea Party's principles and opinions really are? Have any of you attended even one of their meetings? From all of your posts, you are one of two things. Either completely afraid of our country recharting the course it is now on or totally misinformed about what the Tea Party stands for. The American public recently said, rechart the course.

I notice, as usual, when you don't have a cogent answer, you ignore the question and spin. Once again, I am breaking my promise not to respond to your inane posts. I'll try to do better in the future.

It's a very clear answer. One just needs to observe the prominent teaparty leaders to understand their principles. It's similar to the mission statement of a corporation vs their real world behavior. I am not a rightwing news site or e-mail. I can't guarantee you will hear the answer you want to hear.

Edit: it's interesting you mention ignore. I'm still waiting for an answer to the meaning of your post in the ebola thread.

Maybe it's just my imagination, but I'm getting the impression that even after the trouncing the dems just took, the level of butthurt on the right far exceeds that on the left. I'm not just talking here on Sowal. I mean everywhere you look, it seems a though the left is taking it in stride. The right is all fired up. I think they are in for a rude awakening when they see how much power, with the stroke of a pen, that this president really has.

No not really, I usually can't read their misspelled words.

Seriously though it seems to be a bunch of white people very concerned about the future of our country who's concern arose, oddly *rolls eyes*, at the same time as a black man was elected president. Most of their "solutions" are misinformed, poorly thought out and panic driven.

Did I miss anything?

Obviously, Local, you have never attended a meeting. We have had Black Americans attend on several occasions. I no longer attend meetings as the South Walton Tea Party folded and I won't drive to DeFuniak Springs so I don't know if the Black member is still attending or not.
