I think most people do, but they just won't admit it. They are afraid to. They are afraid of reprisal [from a benevolent creator] for not believing, and they are afraid of their own perceived meaninglessness of life in the absence of an immortal soul. Can you explain why a person should not question their faith?
Those are my thoughts. The only reason a person wouldn’t question their life choices including religion is fear of the answer.I think most people do, but they just won't admit it. They are afraid to. There are so many things that we will never fully understand about life before we die. Faith may or may not help that issue or problem if it is an issue or problem. So it all comes down to awareness of the life we have at this moment in time. We will always have potential to be better tomorrow than we were today. That is the way I feel better about the world, our lives and other human beings. We are all flawed as in not perfect. We do not always do the right thing but as long as we have this miracle of life we can do better tomorrow or the next time. This life will not last but our actions and the memories that it creates have the potential to live for a very long time. In my simple life that is where I find happiness...Religion/faith on the one hand and magic on the other are simply two practices humans created to feel better about the world, our lives and other human beings.
