Little Italy Ristorante appreciates the value of all reviews.

We were unaware that restaurants.com website failed to state the terms of one of the coupons clearly. As pre-arranged, coupons were to indicate “for dinner only”. Henceforth, any coupons submitting without this phrase will be honored for lunch and dinner. In the meantime, restaurants.com will resolve the error.

Little Italy Ristorante takes great pride in its homemade and from scratch sauces, dressings and meals. We are honored to host cooking classes for the Northwest Florida State College. Anyone who would like to tour our kitchen and observe the operation is welcome to do so.

We are eager to improve our service. Our goal is to make your dining experience a pleasant one.

Well,
Five of us went to check out Little Italy and there was no problem with the acceptance of our $25.00 gift certificate for dinner.

The prices were affordable and the server was friendly.
The food was prepared in a timely manner and came out hot.
We started off with an order of calamari which was fried a crisp golden brown with marinara sauce.
Our choices ranged from shrimp, chicken, fish, meatballs with spaghetti to pizza and salad.
We all took home to-go boxes because they certainly didn't short us.
Overall it was unanimous we would all return and try it again.

Welcome to the neighborhood we wish you the best!

With all due respect madam, you may be sitting in Atlanta but remember where this site is - a small town. And yet it is worldwide and gets more than a few hits. You may have had a few read your negative reviews in the big city, but there was a million others who didn't who were hungry so thankfully one negative review, accurate or not, is not going to kill them.

Bad restaurants don't survive here anymore because of the competition. In past years restaurants had less competition and much lower overhead so a bad one could make all their money on unsuspecting tourists during the summer. My rule is to go where the people on this site like to go. To where they post positive stuff about. The negative isn't necessary.

I have been to Little Italy many times and it is above average in food and service.

Sometimes 2 cents should be kept in the piggy bank. Sounds like someone is a teensy spoiled. Your intentions may be good. Maybe you think you are going to save some poor dear soul from having to wait ten minutes to get their check. But what you are doing is hurting a lot of good people who are trying to eke out a living in paradise. Don't hate them for that.

If my check is a little too slow somewhere I usually politely go to the register and ask for it. And I don't feel like it's the end of the world.

BR lives in Atlanta, I stay in Grayton, where do you live? Sorry, there are some Sysco-sloshing stinkers here that are on cruise control. For the record, I'm not referencing Little Italy-I have always liked the food, but they have had service issues especially right after they opened when servers were seemingly sucked into a vortex for twenty minutes at a time. It isn't like that anymore, I don't think...maybe due to honest critique? :dunno:

If anything holds that place back, it will not be honest criticism, it will be the out of sight, out of mind location.

I don't think either of the complaints were out of line. They were respectful, honest experiences. I hope that they both herald their great dining experiences, too (I KNOW BR does!). And it gave little italy a chance to respond (which they did very nicely) and the champions of this restaurant to chime in (which they also did!)

I love to see dialogue like this! Just my 2 cents!
