March 26th | Calvin Arsenia
Calvin Arsenia has built a reputation for turning the arts world on its head. While the harp has allowed this Kansas City native to become a man of the world (gaining followings in Paris, Edinburgh, and at the Outlyre Harpist Festival in Austria), it’s his unique ability to craft a stimulating setting at his live shows that has all eyes fixed on this conspicuous musician and his breathtaking approach to harp music.
April 4th | The Mosleys & The Thompsons
Local Favorites The Mosleys will unite with Will Thompson and Lindsey Thompson for an unforgettable evening of powerful music at The REP Theatre! From The Mosley’s folk roots to Will Thompson’s rockin’ country tunes and Lindsey Thompson’s sweet melodies there is something for everyone in this special Live@TheREP Concert. Calling Northwest Florida home, these talented artists bring a passion for music and storytelling to the stage like no other.
April 13th | Callaghan
Originally from the UK Callaghan moved to the USA in summer 2010 to record and tour with Grammy-Nominee Shawn Mullins and has been playing live and building her audience ever since. Playing piano and guitar, she delivers a stunning vocal which earns frequent comparisons with artists like Sarah McLachlan and Emmy Lou Harris. Her songwriting chronicles the stories, experiences and emotions which are part of everyone’s lives.
April 20th | TOWNE
This Nashville-based powerhouse duo consists of Pennsylvania bred, music theater geek, Steevie Steeves and straight-from-Kentucky, former bassist for punk-rock band, The Pink Spiders, Jon Decious. The two talents unexpectedly crossed paths at Skip Ewing’s Horse and Writer Seminar in Wyoming where they immediately connected musically. Not long after they met, they both realized they both lived behind the liquor store on 8th in the heart of Music City, yet they had to travel thousands of miles to find out they were meant to make music together. When they began writing together, TOWNE's music began taking shape. The power and passions behind their harmonies and lyrics was incomparable to anything they had experienced as musicians.
April 27th | Amy Black
As a singer and songwriter, Amy Black is known for her authenticity and versatility. Her live performance, like her songwriting, spans from soft, tender and vulnerable...to fiery, dynamic and powerful. Amy's love of many classic forms of American music, including blues, country, soul, jazz, and rock n' roll led her from Boston...to Nashville...to Muscle Shoals...and, most recently, to Memphis to record with members of the Hi rhythm section (Al Green's backing band).
