Looking for babysitter!

Hi everyone! I am looking for a kid-sitter to watch my 2 kids (ages 8 & 5) while both my husband & I work. I will need the sitter to start in the August, and the hours each week will vary (usually 3-4 hrs each time). The sitter will need to: be able to drive, get the kids from the bus stop 1-2 times a week, help with homework on those days, feed them dinner on those days, play with the kids (most important). Hey, I thought kids were supposed to do their own homework.
I'll ask around and see if I can find someone. Kurt posted some babysitter numbers on another thread. I will get their card today and try to remember to post it here for you. I'm not sure if they would fit your bill, but you can check.

I checked out the card of the babysitters which I mentioned above. They are babysitting only through Aug 1, so they won't work for your situation, since you need them to start in Aug.

Why is that? Have you had a bad experience? If so - from which one? It would be nice to get better details than to dread every nanny service. Thanks for any info you can give. Thanks!!
