That was before all the recent hurricanes and the threat of global warming causing a rise in sea level that will swallow oceanfront homes if the dire warnings come true.
Also, please let us know when the soft coastal market begins to turn from the downward hockey stick of the last year to year and a half.
I don't want to be beachfront. Beachfront is brutal on a house. One of those thunderstorms that came through last fall (not even a tropical storm) blew off the beachside part of one of our beachfront neighbor's roof. Another beachfront neighbor painted last spring. Even after no hurricanes in 2006, the house looks sandblasted - needs painting again. Second row homes and back don't get that kind of abuse. Not to mention not having to worry about your house caving in due to erosion. Of course, if money is no object, one can afford to take a Zen attitude towards it.
To forecast just when the coastal market will turn just look at the folks that are preparing for it. Soon.

Does anyone know who to get in touch with, in regards to the "Lifeguard chairs" house with pool. Owned by Doodle, I believe that's the name I read.

Look in the sky when in Seagrove.... You may see a blimp floating over some property 100 ft in the air!!! You will find him near there

I heard Doodle sold all his lots adjacent to Seaside. Imagine that! There is always a high end buyer! Congrats Doodle. I guess we all can eat a little crow!
