I like heavy mascara, heavy eye shadow with lots and lots of lipstick. This gives me that transvestite/street whore look I've been after.

Now I really like you :lolabove:
Finally figured out the real reason I'm on sowal- you guys make me laugh

I love their products!! Esp their shampoo and conditioner for damaged hair, I forget the name and the Grace fragrance, too.:wave: They make lots of yummy stuff. I use the eyebelieve cream from their line.

I tried their mineral makeup and I think the shade was too light. It really stood out in my pores:dunno:

'Smatter of fact, I have several shades of orange in glosses, varying brands. I've always loved it, as I have very fair skin, and reds I like to do can often make my skin look like its gone up in flames--I love to wear the reds in the winter, when the cold keeps me a little paler, but I do mostly oranges and pinks in the summertime (I stick to glosses in the summer, vs actual lipsticks, because they're lighter and make me feel all smiley )

I'm also kind of obsessed with matching my lips to my nails, which are pretty much always an orange or pink this time of year (huge fan of OPI's Cajun Shrimp...)

Alicia, you're right. The best "oranges" actually have a more peachy, coral kind of look to them, and it's surprisingly flattering on a wide range of skintones. One of those things that you think "Omigosh, I could never get away with that!" but will be pleasantly surprised when you try it on... With your dark hair, it'd be gorgeous on you!

One of my faves is "I'm not really a waitress"

and Clinique "Angel Red" lipstick.

Fair Skin: Try Clinique in Angel Red. It has a blue-violet undertone and looks striking against fair skin. ( My skin is not super fair, but this never looks trashy as a red imo., and I like the way it wears. Also because my skin is closer to medium, it doesn't look so striking, but is still a nice pop of color with moisture and a kinda matte finish.

I love pinks and brights on my toes in the summer but my fave pedi is a nice french look.:D

I admit I would love to be a 30's or 40's dame with red lips, lots of mascara and that's it. Then add a fitted suit with a Veronica Lake wave to the hair and it rocks socks. It's the shoes that stop me. I do not like heels.:sosad:

Oh, and I love 'waitress', too! I'll have to look into the angel red... Been a while since I've bought any Clinique, but I do like their lipsticks. Thanks for the tip...

Ah, Douglas! Spoken like a man who has not yet realized that women don't dress for men, we dress for other women! Silly wabbit!

It's the one lipstick I break out the brush for to get the last little bit ;-)
Sometimes I do a little clear or red gloss on top, but I like that it doesn't bleed and looks almost natural to me, but not quite.

Dougie, we need you to cough up your faves:wave::D
