I like pointed toes (even extreme) more than round toes - they look like little kid shoes.

Have a great pair of VERY pointy low black heels from when they were in fashion, but I think they are a bit witchy/costumey .............. so I just wear them for the Halloween witches ride!

The pointy toes just don't look comfortable to me. I know it's not about comfort, but I got to have a little comfort in my shoe, or I'll just be barefoot.

I don't mind a pointy toe, have never found them uncomfortable. The problem I run into is that I've got really high arches, and can't comfortably wear pumps--they just slide right off my heels. I've tried the non-slip inserts, and everything, but it's a no-go for me. For me, though, heels are actually more comfortable than flats, just because of the arches...

Because of that, my tastes tend to run towards slingbacks and mules (preferably with a good 4 inch heel--I'm only 5' 3", so I like the extra height)--think Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield-ish classics...

And, of course, I love a good peep toe because it makes me smile to look down and see a good color polish on my toe-sies!

No slingbacks or pumps for me - I had an extremely graceful moment w/ a metal screen door and took the skin off one heel to the tendon - the scar tissue is off course RIGHT where most slingbacks and shoe backs hit.

I have the same high arches and find heels more comfy than flat shoes too.

I don't care how much they cost, if your heels match your rims it's G H E T T O!

yeah, I'm with ya. I was never into the Mary Jane look. I had a biotchin' pair of black boots (the really short ones) with pointy toes...oh man..I loved those things. I always called them my witch shoes. Wore 'em right up until the time Maggie chewed the sheet out of them. Damn dog.

Where would you wear them, she asks! The short answer is "EVERYWHERE!" Those are adorable!

DD, Beach Jacket has the Manolo Mary Jane shoes that SATC made famous. She wore them for the wedding rehearsal. Awesome.

Yeah, Aleo, we have the same problem. I don't live the lifestyle to wear the fashion items over which I drool, even if money were no object.

I liked the green ones you posted earlier, BR. If I dressed up for work everyday, I would go with something like this, but maybe a knock-off:lol:
