OK, I was into this thread until y'all started talking heels. I have a pair of navy pumps and a pair of black pumps and if you see me in either one, it is because I am attending a funeral.

Makeup...you do know BareMinerals has a matte foundation now? I like to mix it with the regular. (Yes, it makes a mess. The light fixtures over my side of the vanity are a different color than the ones on ShallowFuzz's side )

They also have an awesome primer, which doesn't melt but I stay in a frigid office most of the day. There is a primer from a different company that is actually called Spackle. Haven't tried it.

I do, however, need help with eyebrows. Basically, I have none and even though I have to draw them on, I don't want it to look like I had to draw them on. I also need undereye concealer; BE's bisque isn't doing it anymore. Wish I could wear mascara, but my eyes stay irritated as it is. Probably all the BareMinerals floating around in the air.

Is there no hair on your brow bones, or is it just light? You could dye it in the latter case. I have a friend who used to pluck her eyebrows too thin. Now it won't grow back. She paints them in, but it looks artificial to me. How about cutting bangs that are long enough that they cover your brow bones? :dunno:

On a different note, y'all check out this product for cleavage modesty -- Cami Secret!

Order Here!

:rotfl: Seriously, though, there are certain places/situations where showing cleavage is okay. But showing inches of cleavage in the workplace, at church, in a college classroom is inappropriate, etc. Do you agree? Don't you think that women are showing a bit too much cleavage these days?

Sort of like "pants on the ground" but with the cleavage revealed elsewhere?

I do agree with you BR, but I think it may just be my jealousy again. I imagine if I were 20-30 years younger...................:D

Seriously though, I have seen some pretty inappropriate boobage lately.

Really, really thin and now sparse. I used to pluck too, and always marveled at why my mother didn't. She told me that hers stopped growing. I didn't believe her. God rest her soul, now I do.

Bangs won't work; I can't stand hair touching my forehead or anywhere near my eyes. :sosad:

I saw a product on QVC a couple of days ago with a little mascara-type wand that is supposed to fill in bald spots in brows. Once I decide whether I'm taupe or dark brown, I may order it....

Same thing happened to my husband's lower legs from so many years of tape for basketball injuries pulling out his leg hair. They're smooth as silk. Your mama was right. :D

Good luck with the QVC product!

I believe that the best way to "thicken" brows is with a brush and powder make-up - sort of like eyeshadow, not drawing with a pencil. Didn't pay much attention because I have the Scooter brows - the Bug women have to draw theirs on.

Yes, lots of inappropriate cleavage these days - at both ends! Easily fixed, people just have to dress for the occasion, not the pole.

I am so tired of not getting a good pedicure here in GA. I'm not talkin' about just getting my toenails painted. You gulls know what I mean. Have any of you tried this product https://www.heeltastic.com/? Saw it on TV this weekend.

BTW I recommend that you not click on this just before or after a meal. ;-)

I know I'm supposed to put lotion on my feet at bedtime, but that is just intrusive.

Those are NASTY feet!

BR, you can't put on a daily lotion, but you can put on a balm? :dunno:

I would think between a decent pedicure/massage, the humidity here, and walking on the beach it would be a non-issue.

Who are you people? Life in Seagrove is sunscreen and flipflops. Do you wear a cheap rubber flipflop or a teva or a OluKai or another name brand?

Birki's over here - helps keep me out of the podiatrist's office. But I am picky about them, as a good number of them are butt-ugly.
