Mammogram/breast cancer ?

Now I have a question about mammograms (& since I'm over 50). Is it STILL 40 when it is recommended to get your first screening? Because of my history, I've been getting them since I was in my 20's. But 40 seems so late in life and you hear about so, so many young women being diagnosed with breast cancer!

I think the standard baseline is 35. I had mine at 35, followed by ultrasound and finally was all clear.
